Our 2025-2026 Academy

Our 2025-2026 Academy is now accepting enrollment! The Academy features 10-month ballet programs for children, youth, and young adults — as well as open drop-in classes for teenagers and adults of all ages.
Our 10-month programs follow the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum and feature leveled progressions and professional assessments for advancement.
Early Steps
Early Steps is a 10-month program for 2 to 7-year-olds (by Dec. 1st). Our ballet classes for kids in Brooklyn introduce and hone ballet technique through age-appropriate exercises that mix fun, imagery, and creative games. These ballet classes aid kids to develop focus, coordination, flexibility, musicality, and strength. Come join our ballet classes in Brooklyn for kids!

- 45-60 minutes long
Training Program
Progression-based ballet classes
Our Training program is our flagship 10-month program for participants ages 8-20. Students are placed in classes according to ability, with placements ranging from beginner to advanced. Coursework includes ballet, modern, jazz, pointe, men’s class and partnering (as appropriate for level).
- Ages 8-20
- Classed by experience
- Held 2-6x per week
- Includes the Boys Project (beginner & pre-professional)
- End-of-the-year assessments for advancement
Adult/Teen
Open Programs
Anytime drop-in ballet classes and workshops
Our Open Programs are ideal ballet classes in Brooklyn for teens and adults who are either trying ballet for the first time or are returning professionals wanting to hone and maintain their skills. We offer several ballet and modern dance open classes and introductory workshops for adults and teens.

The Firebirds & the Magical Tree
James and Martha Duffy Performance @ The Mark Morris Dance Center
Dec. 5th – 7PM
Prince Jean is on a quest for the magical tree whose fruit has special healing powers. Be transported with our hero into a world filled with beautiful maidens, monsters, an evil sorcerer and the fabled, mystical Firebirds!
As part of our Dance Exposure Program, school audiences can enjoy this hour-long ballet on Dec. 4 & 5 at 10:30am. CLICK HERE for more info!

Our Studio
We’re proudly located and rooted in South Brooklyn at 251 Avenue U, Brooklyn, NY 11223. Our studio features two dance studios, changing rooms, lockers, AC, and heating. We’re easily accessible via public transportation from Queens and Brooklyn via the N and F trains or the B4 and B3 buses. Come see us!
