Ages 8-20

Our Training program is our flagship 10-month program for participants ages 8-20. Students are placed in classes according to ability, with placements ranging from beginner to advanced. Coursework includes ballet, modern, jazz, pointe, men’s class and partnering (as appropriate for level)

Placements, Schedules, & Assessments

Our 10-month Training Program is designed to help dancers hone their skills, progress to new heights in ballet, and explore dance as a whole through a mix of fun and focus. All new students are required to take a placement assessment that allows us to gauge their current experience level and to place them in the appropriate class. Students will additionally be required to participate in an end-of-the-year assessment to identify their progress and advancement to their next level.

Ballet for Boys

At Covenant Ballet Theatre of Brooklyn, we’re passionate about providing ballet classes for boys in Brooklyn. In our 35+ years of teaching ballet, we’ve seen firsthand that ballet can provide incredible physical, emotional, and social benefits for boys and young men, which is why we’re passionate about continuing to provide a place for boys to discover and excel in ballet. What if I’ve missed the enrollment deadline?

Give us a call (718-891-6199)! It might not be too late to catch up, but you will still need a placement audition.

How do I sign up for a placement assessment?

Fill out the form HERE or give us a call (718-891-6199). Auditions usually happen Tuesday evenings or Saturday afternoon.

What if I’ve been dancing at another school?

That’s fine! We’ll schedule a placement audition to see which level you’d best thrive in at CBT.
